Playing In The Park 2008

Mission Statement:

1.     Create a festive atmosphere in an approved public setting that attracts, and appeals, to candidates interested in transitioning out of homelessness.
2.     Create a environment that will attract volunteers, individuals and organizations in service - working with interim shelters, employment opportunities and transitional housing.
3.     Create a place of contact for community workers interested in making contact with providers who can help or offer contact to organizations involved in community work in support of employment, housing and / or special assistance as may be available.

The Vision:

. Create an open venue for Christian singers and gospel groups to share their music ministries.

The Program:

. Special gatherings where participants can provide friendly access to church groups, volunteers and dedicated community workers.
. The program events will include sharing music, food, and fellowship for the event volunteers, participants, and attendees.
